We're having the guys over to the house for a barbeque tomorrow. Given the success last year's event was, I knew this year would have to be a little better.
Therefore, we're serving ribs as well as burgers and dogs. However, as many have pointed out, the guys would eat fried dogfood if I put some spices in it and they were hungry enough.
I'm thinking 20 lbs of ribs, 25 lbs of burger meat and a few dozen hotdogs. We looked into a whole smoked pig, but that was too expensive.
Yes, the boats finally got here. They need a little work before everything is rigged perfect, but it shouldn't be that much. They're really different from our Vespolis and come "factory rigged" different than the rest of our boats. That causes a few different-looking rigs on the oars that go with these boats. The coxed four especially has some interesting oars. Any coach looking at those oars is going to think I'm an idiot, trying to kill my crew. What he doesn't know is that I really MIGHT be trying to kill my crew. (Insert evil laugh here.)

I was going to bring my nachos (the good hot ones with hot dogs) but I wont be home to cook them. So insted iIthink I'll just pick up a pie or two on my way home from Altoona. Any flavor suggestions?
my mom is making a guacomoli(sp?) dip that is amazing. evidentally, it feeds like 40 people so well be good
