A parent sent this to me, with the question, "Do you own these guys?" Yes, I am responsible. It was a crime againt fashion, good taste and USRowing uniform regulations. And it was very funny....
rowing up to the start of our heat, going past all of the canadian parents, they all were laughing at us and saying, look at these clowns. but we ended up getting the last laugh. during the race in the last 500 we past those same parents for the second time, but only in the other direction, and about 250 yards ahead of their kids. whose laughing now i must ask?
and might i add that we started the race at around a 40-41 and crosed the line at a mere 18.

I dont think we could have taken it down anymore than we did. Wow, what great memories, and more importantly, great race.
Thank goodness USRowing Uniform Regulations don't apply in Canada.
