That's about the best word to describe me the last few days. It's hard to post anything when one is falling asleep at whenever one sits down.
I'll talk more about the Nationals results later. Here's a quick post to pass along an interesting story.
We didn't leave Cincinnati until 6:30pm on Sunday. Nobody had gotten any decent sleep for a few days, and we had a long drive ahead. Didn't get to Mt. Lebo until 11:30. From there, I left for FC to bring Jesse, Pat and Evan home.
After dropping off Pat and Evan, I was driving Jesse to his house. In the gloom, my high beams revealed three small creatures scamper across the road. At first, I thought they were possum or large, multi-colored rats. However, the last one was undoubtedly a kitten, perhaps a little larger than my hand.
I pulled the car over. Kittens have no place being outside so late, without a parent cat around. Jesse and I got out a flashlight and went kitten hunting through a constructions site. They were feral, running and hiding whenever we got close. After half an hour, we gave up.
That's how tired I was. I was chasing kittens through FC at 12:30am.
Got up again at 6 for the beginning of my TRRA summer camp. Up all day. Crashed last night at 7 and didn't get up again until 4am, when I set an alarm for 6:30 and went back to sleep.
That should give some idea of what kind of state I've been in the last few days. I'll post more later tonight, with my comments on the Nationals results and some other thoughts I had as well.

True jay, it was a long ride back and i again want to thank you for the trip. I had a great time. One good highlight of the trip back, the UDF milk shakes (heaven).
Also, if any one wants a copy of the final racing from nationals let me know, i will be happy to make tapes or dvds, im already making one for jesse, jay, steve, and of course my self. Let me know soon so i can make them and bring them to steves house when we do the guys team awards.
Make me one too Pat, thanks
Was that dave eng or dave barry, please specify last names.
but yes i will make you one
eng
why did pat and evan get to go to nationals
what does it matter
I invited Evan and Pat to Cincinnati for the same reason I brought Steve and Dave last year. I wanted younger members of the team, people I think will be leaders in the future, to experience our goal for themselves, as best they could. Watch the video of the V8+ race and you might understand.
I would love to have brought more, but there is only so much room at my parents house.
